Current programme

The Standards Programme is delivered via 10 key strands of work covering wastewater, supply, collection, treatment, drinking water quality, regulation, legal issues and customer service.

The various strands are listed below with a detailed strategy documents attached to each. This sets out objectives, current practice, relevant issues and committee-level activity.

How to become a rep

All reps belong to the relevant Water UK network or group that deals with the relevant subject area. Contact the leader of the Network or Group via Water UK. It is helpful to let them have a copy of your CV. The network or group leader will then ask the Technical Secretary of the Water UK Standards Board to make a nomination to BSI.
